Temperature Probes/Liquid Level Gauges/Flow Gauges

There are various designs of these components and it would be a difficult task to list each and every one of them. Our representatives will provide TDS with a photograph of the exact component that is leaking. TDS will examine the component and provide a repair technique to the customer.

Figure 1 shows a temperature probe leaking from the four bolt probe mounting flange.

TDS Repair Technique

Figure 2 shows this temperature probe being repaired. The protective cover, flange, and temperature probe have been removed. This permits access to the temperature probe well flange gasket that is leaking. Four access holes have been drilled and tapped in order to inject sealant into the gasket groove.
