Circuit Breaker Repairs / SF 6 Circuit Breaker End Cap Leak

Occasionally, SF 6 circuit breakers have bushing end cap leaks.   See Figure 1.

TDS Repair Technique

TDS repairs these leaks with a designed enclosure which threads on to the stud and seats against the top of the cap. See Figure 2. After the enclosure is installed, it is pumped with TDS's rubber based non adhering sealant, thereby fixing the leak.
